Born in Venezuela and raised in Texas, Barbara (also known as Barbs) is a travel advisor whose work is shaped by a multicultural upbringing, a strategist's mind, and a deep belief that the right trip can change how someone sees the world. She is fluent in English and Spanish, has explored 18+ countries, and continues to seek the next adventure.

She studied geology at the University of Texas at Austin before building a career in strategy consulting, where she learned the power of meticulous planning and clear communication. That same precision now shapes every itinerary she crafts to match the lifestyle of her clients. Her path into travel began when she was invited to design a journey through Greece for a leadership retreat. What began as a passion project motivated her to continue helping people explore and bring their dream experiences to life — from there Sulara Travel was born.

Barbara specializes in luxury travel, couples and honeymoons, and group journeys. Her work is never about logistics alone.
